Majolica pitcher decorated with flowers.

This charming majolica jug of the beginning XXth century, is decorated with hellebores in the "Art nouveau" style. Colors are green and beige. The base of the jug is decorated with leaves in the ochre colors.

The number 130 can be read under, hollowed in the paste.

It is in good condition, except for some tiny restorations inside the neck.

The barbotine is a piece of ceramic consisted of clay crushed and diluted in the water to form a porridge of concisitance creamy. It is decorated by putting of colored paste under enamel, what gives its characteristic relief.

Its dimensions : height 20 cms, diameter 9 cms.
